Connecting to Brookdale’s Wireless Network
OIT maintains an extensive wireless network throughout the Lincroft Campus and all Regional Locations, ensuring members of the Brookdale community secure and easy access to the network. Access is available to all Brookdale Students, Faculty, Staff, and Guests.
Brookdale Wireless Network supports three authentication and connection methods;Brookdale Secure,Brookdale Open,andBrookdale Guest. Please review the types below to ensure that you are selecting the best authentication method that supports your needs while on campus.
- Brookdale Secure– (Preferred method for Brookdale Students, Faculty, and Staff)

Windows Laptops

Please complete the steps below to connect an Android device or tablet to the Brookdale Secure Network.- TapSettings

- Tap Wifi or Internet
- TapBrookdale-Secure
- Configure the following settings on your device:
– EAP Method: PEAP
– CA certificate: Use system certificates
– Online certificate status: Do not verify
– Domain: brookdalecc.edu
– Identity: Enter your NetID username
– Password: Enter your NetID password
Mac and iOS Devices
Please complete the steps below to connect a Mac laptop or iOS iPad or mobile device to the Brookdale Secure Network.- From the Apple menu, selectSystem Preferences. From an iOS device, tapSettings.
- SelectNetworkfrom the System Preferences. TapWififrom iOS devices.
- From the Network Name dropdown, selectBrookdale-SecureTapBrookdale-Securefrom an iOS device.
- Enter your NetID username and password and clickJoin.
- ClickApply
- NOTE:You may be prompted to tap/click “Trust” or “Continue”
- Brookdale Open
Connecting to Brookdale Open
Complete the steps below to connect toBrookdale-Open
- Access your wireless network adapter settings
- Select theBrookdale-OpenNetwork and clickConnect
- When prompted, click to open a browser
- Enter your Brookdale NetID user name and password
- ClickSign On
- ClickContinueat the Welcome message
- Open a new browser tab once you have received the Success notification
- Brookdale Guest
Connecting to Brookdale Guest
Complete the steps below to access the Brookdale-Guest Network self-registration form. – Guest access is only available in the Student Life Center (SLC), Collins Arena, and Brookdale Recreation and Events Center (BREC).
- Access your wireless network adapter settings
- Select the Brookdale-Guest Network
- When prompted, click to open a browser
- Click the linkDon’t have an account located under the Sign-On button
- Complete the registration form and click Register
(Note: you will be sent a text and email with your temporary username and password. The account is valid for seven days. - Click Sign-On
- Enter your temporary user name and password and clickSign-On
- ClickContinueat the Welcome Message.
- Open a new tab to access the Internet.
