Yes, the streaming giant known for its captivating content, including the wildly popular Knives Out film series (the next installment, Wake Up Dead Man, is coming soon!), is about to unleash its adaptation of a timeless Agatha Christie classic. But here's where it gets controversial... Will Netflix do justice to the Queen of Crime?
Prepare to be transported to the glamorous yet treacherous world of Agatha Christie's Seven Dials, originally announced as The Seven Dials Mystery back in March 2024. Chris Chibnall, famed for his work on Doctor Who, is at the helm of this adaptation, and he's brought along an absolutely stellar cast. We're talking Mia McKenna-Bruce, the incredible Helena Bonham Carter, the ever-reliable Martin Freeman, plus rising stars like Corey Mylchreest, Ed Bluemel, and Nabhaan Rizwan. Talk about a lineup!
Mark your calendars, because this 3-part series is officially hitting Netflix on January 15th, 2026. To whet your appetite, Netflix has dropped a trailer that plunges us straight into the heart of the mystery, introducing us to the central character and promising a suspense-filled journey.

So, what's the story? Picture this: England, 1925. A lavish country house party, the kind where secrets simmer beneath the surface and champagne flows freely. A practical joke goes horribly, murderously wrong. And this is the part most people miss... it's not a seasoned detective who steps in, but rather the delightfully inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent. It's up to her, the unlikeliest of sleuths, to unravel a chilling plot that will forever change her life, cracking open the secrets hidden within the walls of the country house. As the official synopsis states, prepare yourself for "a witty, epic and fast-paced drama from the Queen Of Crime, Agatha Christie, is brought to life in a thrilling new version for Netflix."
Netflix isn't holding back on visuals either! Newly released images give us a glimpse of the central characters. We see McKenna-Bruce embodying the spirited Lady Bundle Brent, Bonham Carter radiating aristocratic presence as Lady Caterham, and Freeman bringing his signature gravitas to the role of Superintendent Battle. Bluemel appears as Jimmy Thesiger, while the roles of Mylchreest and Rizwan are still shrouded in mystery, adding to the intrigue.

But wait, there's more! This isn't the only Agatha Christie adaptation heading to your screens. Britbox is also bringing us a fresh take on the beloved sleuths Tommy and Tuppence, and the BBC is diving back into Christie's world with Sarah Phelps penning an adaptation of the 1967 novel Endless Night. While the release date for that one remains a mystery, it's clear that the Queen of Crime is having a major moment.
