As the crawl out of winter hibernation unfolds, Denver's best coffee shops find that they're filled with energy, coffee fanatics and lots of good buzz this time of year. From coffee spots that are new and notable to your favorite caffeine hubs, here are some of Denver's best hangout spaces serving primo roasts.

Set in RiNo, Stowaway Kitchen is an all-day cafe that's open for dinner on the weekends. Not just a coffee shop, but a meeting point and a place to connect over coffee, tea or a craft cocktail.
This adorable little hidey-hole of coffee goodness draws people in with its blue hues and bright atmosphere, keeping them around with an international menu of roasts. You can find Blue Sparrow Coffee inside the Backyard on Blake community in the River North Arts District.
For our friends located north of Denver, Alpine Modern Café is a great little joint in Boulder. The bright-white space is absolutely stunning, nestled inside a century-old cabin in University Hill.

The house roast at Amethyst Coffee Co. is always by local roaster Commonwealth, but guest roasters from around the country moonlight for months-long stints too. The space at this gorgeous Capitol Hill coffee spot is welcoming to all, especially to those who fancy themselves baristas.
Creative warehouse space meets coffee shop at this Aurora roaster. Jubilee roasts on-premise and shares their very rad turf with some of the best local artisans and makers.
Congress Park sets the scene for this retro cool coffee house. Lula Rose General Store has you covered for all your caffeine and flower arrangement needs.
Grab a seat at Boxcar Coffee in RiNo's The Source artisan market and you're in for a treat. The coffee here is imported from around the world and roasted in-house, with subscriptions available. Plus, you can wander the market and pick up tacos, donuts, flowers, beers, and more.

LoHi’s Black Eye Coffee offers breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch in its darling, vintagey space. Plan to spend a while here, catching up with old friends or making new ones.
If you’re looking to take a load off in LoDO, Little Owl Coffee is the place to go. The modern marble and timber clad space give this spot a warm atmosphere while craft espresso and sweet frosted donuts put an extra pep in your step.
